Pussy Footers' Car Wash for Holy Cross

New Orleans' own Pussy Footers held their annual car wash fundraiser Uptown last Sunday. This all-female marching group, during Mardi Gras and other parades, has been helping the neighborhood since 2006. Take a look!

Lawnmowers: Push and riding
Appliances: Refrigerators, washers, dryers (working only!)
Tools for house gutting: Flat shovels, pry bars, wheelbarrows
Pressure Washers
Safety/Protective Clothing: Gloves, P 100 respirators, Tyvek suits, hand sanitizer
Power Tools: For construction – drills, circular saws, etc.
Bleach: (used for disinfecting and cleaning mold)
Building Supplies: Sheet rock, paint, spackling compound...lots of it!
Grass Trimmers: Gas-powered
